Associate Principal of Student Activities

Eden Prairie Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Principal of Student Activities at Eden Prairie High School.  Eden Prairie High School has a staff of approximately 350 that serves over 3,000 students.  The ideal leader is equity-focused and possesses the vision and follow-through behaviors to engage each student in one or more activities that contribute to an enriching, inspiring educational experience.  This leader will play an essential role in helping each student answer the driving question for the school–”Do I belong here?”  The ideal leader is also an instructional leader interested in growing their capacity as an educational leader.

The Associate Principal of Student Activities position is a unique opportunity to work within a 5-person principal team in a world-class comprehensive high school committed to eliminating achievement disparities, personalizing learning, and engaging all stakeholders.  This position is supported by two Activities Coordinators and two office professionals.  The principal team is supported by three deans of students.

Licensed School Nurse

SUMMARY: Promote a healthy and safe environment for students and staff through prevention, early intervention, and collaboration with school and community resources; Provide direct health care to students and staff; Coordinate and provide health screenings and referrals for health conditions; Serve as a leader for health policies and programs and as a liaison between school personnel, family, community and health care providers; Work with the school teams to accommodate the health needs of students on 504 plans and IEPs and complete related paperwork efficiently.

REPORTS TO: Director of Special Services and Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
  • Registered as a Registered Nurse under the Board of Nursing required
  • Valid Minnesota Teaching License as a School Nurse preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
