Hours: Approx. 10 hours week

Position is part-time, part of the teacher bargaining unit and based at Wildwood Elementary and the District Education Center.  Salary and benefits part of Master Agreement.

Under the direction of the Early Childhood Coordinator, the Early Childhood Screener is responsible for conducting early childhood screenings for all children ages 3-5, following up with all rescreening appointments and referrals, and for administering age appropriate screenings with children to identify any developmental concerns or related issues.

Principal, Middle School

Wayzata Public Schools is currently seeking Middle School Principal candidates to provide strong and effective educational leadership for Wayzata West Middle School. The West Middle School Principal is responsible for overall direction, instructional leadership and maintaining a positive learning environment for each and every student.  Current enrollment is 772 students, grades 6-8.  The school has approximately 92 staff.

This position offers an incredible opportunity to do challenging and rewarding work in a school that is committed to helping each and every student find success academically, physically and emotionally.  The administrative staff is also committed to leading staff in standards based teaching and learning  as guided by our current system, Grading for Learning.  As an administrator at Wayzata Public Schools, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate and grow in your profession with two other middle-school principals.

have previous experience building equity for all students, and
demonstrate the ability to empower staff to make the right decision for students.

License Requirement:
Possess or able to obtain a valid MN administrative license.
