Qualifications:  Valid State of Minnesota Teaching License – Elementary Education ; Fluent  Spanish Speaker

Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Teacher- Instrumental Music (Band)

8. Avoiding use of position for commercial gain.

The teacher is expected to establish and maintain a professional relationship with fellow staff members by:
9. Cooperating with other staff members.
10. Consulting with co-workers in evaluating and meeting student needs.
11. Leaving clear and complete instructions for substitutes.
12. Following curriculum and policies approved by the Board.
13. Cooperating in evaluation of present curriculum.
14. Recommending possible revision of curriculum.
15. Being proficient or distinguished in all areas listed on the Teacher Performance Evaluation.
16. Communicating professionally and respectfully with students, staff, parents, and community members, using oral, written, and electronic means.

1. Participating actively in inservice programs.
2. Keeping abreast of professional developments in his/her particular area and in education as a whole.

ALC High School Guidance Counselor (School year 2020-2021)

Provide guidance and counseling assistance to students in grades 9-12. Knowledge, skill, and understanding in best practices as it relates to career and college readiness and personal/social counseling required. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to understand and use academic data to drive decisions for school and students. Highly motivated individual who can work well with others and has excellent organizational skills. Detail orientated tracking of student credit acquisition towards graduation standards.  Coordinates with community business partners with the intent of helping students secure career options.  Coordinates with post-secondary institutions in order to support the Early Middle College program.  Tracks and coordinates 504 plans.

FTE/Schedule:
.2 FTE /  Hours can be flexible, but must be consistent.

 

Gifted & Talented Math Teacher/Coordinator

*  Previous experience implementing Gifted and Talented programming preferred
*  Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with elementary level students
*  Must have high degree knowledge in advanced learning and math strategies
*  Minimum of five years successful classroom experience
*  Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, community and students to achieve district, building and student goals
*  Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff to meet educational goals
*  Maintain a culture of collaboration, collective inquiry and evidence-decision making for continuous improvement

Elementary Teacher – Grade 1
