Summary:

The Associate Principal works as part of an administrative and leadership team to improve outcomes for all students while closing achievement, opportunity, and participation gaps.  A key area of work includes providing leadership and support to various departments, collaborative teams, programs, and individual teachers. Further, the Associate Principal helps build and maintain a positive school climate and culture with students and staff.

Primary Responsibilities as Part of the Administrative Team:

Lead and collaborate with others on the school implementation of the District 197 Strategic Plan
Lead and collaborate with others on the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school improvement plan
Lead and collaborate with others on the school implementation of district curriculum, instructional commitments, and assessments
Lead and support various school committees and programs
Develop and maintain a safe and welcoming school environment
Interpret and enforce school district policies and procedures
Recruit, hire, support, develop, supervise and evaluate staff
Support student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic learning and development
Supervise school activities
Serve as part of the district leadership team and on district and community committees
Other duties as assigned

Custodian, K12, Full-time (1.0) – Lewiston-Altura Public Schools

Duties include cleaning and other custodial duties, assist in set-up of facilities for athletic/fine art/school programming events, maintenance of high school facility, grounds keeping, etc. High School education required. Special Class Engineer Boiler License must be obtained within first year of employment. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Day hours vary depending on the season and need of the district. Social Studies Teacher

Caledonia School District No. 299 has an opening for a full-time high school social studies teacher beginning the 2020-2021 school year.  Must have a middle and high school license and a Work Based Learning license or eligible to obtain these Work Based Learning license.  Ability to teach college in the schools is preferred but not required.  Please complete a Certified Staff Employment Application located under the Human Resource area of school district website, and include a resume, application letter, copy of license, and three letters of recommendation Caledonia Area Middle/High School, Mr. Nathan Boler, 825 North Warrior Avenue, Caledonia, MN 55921.  Application deadline April 3rd.  Tentatively interviews will be held the week of April 6th.

Teacher- Mathematics

1. Participating actively in inservice programs.
2. Keeping abreast of professional developments in his/her particular area and in education as a whole.
