School/Security Monitor

The position will follow the school calendar and will work 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM with .5 hour unpaid lunch); student contact days only.

Job Summary
To create a safe school environment for all staff and students.

Job Functions

Patrol the hallways and stairs ensuring students are in class.
Monitor front door, bathroom and student passing time.
Check school grounds for violations of school rules (i.e., smoking, truancy etc.).
Patrol the parking lots for violations (i.e., speeding, parking, and vandalism).
Assist students with locker problems.
Monitor the building and grounds.
Provide lunchroom supervision support.
Monitor security cameras.
Be a positive example by modeling respectful behavior and using problem solving strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Nutrition Assistant (3.5 hours per day)

Job Summary:
Perform a variety of assigned tasks in the dish room, serving and cashiering under established rules, policies and procedures.

Job Functions

Assemble, prepare, and serve food items according to child nutrition guidelines, standardized recipes and directions from the Cook Manager.
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots and pans, and other items in dish room using procedures established in HACCP plans.
Rotate working in serving area, cashiering, food prep and dish room as assigned.
Clean and handle food properly using procedures established in HACCP plans.
Monitor meal components and claim meals for reimbursement that adhere to federal guidelines and cashiering for ala carte.
Utilize safety measures as it pertains to use and operation of equipment in the kitchen including utensils, knives, and other equipment
Represent a positive public relations environment with customers
Attend education classes, training classes and or workshops as required
Other duties as assigned

Alternative Learning Interventionist .2 FTE

Events-Testing Coordinator (Class V)

Coordinates student testing programs, and student/family and staff events for the Secondary Building.

Job Functions

Coordinate secondary events including national honor society, gold awards, honors receptions, graduation.
Coordinate secondary student testing.
Collect money for various funds including graduation and National Honor Society
Completes college application/transcript recommendation letters.
Assist in summer registration process.
Create and distribute monthly newsletter.
Update and maintain secondary building website.
Maintain early dismissal report.
Coordinate conference schedules and preparations.
Model the 1B Learner Profile for students, families and staff.
Other duties as assigned.
