Position Days/Hours:  Year-Round Position
School Year: Monday – Friday; 6:30am – 9:15am & 2:45pm – 6:00pm (30 hrs/week)
Summer: Monday – Friday; Hours will vary, but will not be a split shift (30 hrs/week)
Banded/Graded:  A-1-3; Tier 3
Salary:  $17.73/hour
*An extra $26.60/day will be earned when working a split shift on student contact days (max of 173 days)*

Responsible To:  Out of School Time Supervisor/Child Care Specialist

Position Purpose:  Lead program activities, give work direction to paraprofessionals, supervise students in the care program.

Qualifications:  Current first aid certification (have or willing to obtain within first 90 days); experience working with elementary aged children.

A part-time (0.333 FTEs Physical Education/Health Teacher position is available at East High School beginning January 27, 2020 for the second semester of the 2019-20 school year.  MN licensure in Physical Education/Health is required.  CPR certification and Lifeguarding certification are required; WSI certification is preferred.

Banded/Graded:  B-3-1
Rate of Pay:  $28.09/hr
Responsible To:  Building Principal/Supervisor of Health Services

Position Purpose:  To enhance the educational process by minimizing or removing health-related barriers to learning, while promoting a safe environment for all students and staff.  Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures and Minnesota State law regarding nurse practice.

Qualifications/Licensure:  Registered Nurse with CPR/AED certification.

Major Job Function/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:  See attached. As well as facilitate the implementation of the district wellness program: gathering data, researching best practice, developing challenges, maintaining the wellness website.
