A position is available for a part-time (0.75 FTEs) Reading and/or Mathematics Intervention Teacher at Monroe Elementary School for the 2019-20 school year. Teacher will be responsible for implementing intervention programs with students working on specific, targeted literacy skills. Important to this position will be the ongoing assessment of students who are receiving the additional literacy intervention as well as continuous collaboration with classroom teachers, special education staff, EL and the Literacy Coordinator. A valid Minnesota elementary teaching license is required; K-12 reading license preferred.

The St. Croix River Education District (SCRED) is seeking a licensed School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or School Counselor to fill a full-time (1.0 FTE) K-12 School Social Worker Position. The placement of this position is within Pine City School Public Schools in Pine City, MN.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The position includes typical school social worker duties by working with general and special education students who are experiencing social or emotional stressors that impact their success within the classroom as well as connections to outside resources.
- The school social worker will assist families in arranging for services from an outside agency (i.e., assist in scheduling appointments, provide verbal and written information to agency.
- The school social worker will assist the outside service agency in the collection of relevant school information to assist in evaluating the effects of treatment.
- The school social worker will provide information to families and schools staff on the impact of mental health issues on an individual student’s functioning.
- The school social worker will provide an immediate response to students, families, and school staff in crisis situations and determine when a referral to an outside agency is needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
