Job Summary: These are substitute positions assisting teachers and/or students in the classroom.  See website for job descriptions of current paraprofessional positions to know job responsibilities to be fulfilled.

No certification is required and workshops will be offered periodically for those interested in Special Education substituting.

Background check will be conducted.

Provide guidance and counseling assistance to students in grades 9-12. Knowledge, skill, and understanding in best practices as it relates to career and college readiness and personal/social counseling required. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to understand and use academic data to drive decisions for school and students. Highly motivated individual who can work well with others and has excellent organizational skills. Detail orientated tracking of student credit acquisition towards graduation standards.  Coordinates with community business partners with the intent of helping students secure career options.  Coordinates with post-secondary institutions in order to support the Early Middle College program.  Tracks and coordinates 504 plans.
