Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2019, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. · Demonstrated ability to provide leadership for an effective staff development and assessment program
· Community orientation and high interest in building relationships with a broad range of community groups
· Thorough knowledge of and successful experience in school district management practices
· Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the collective bargaining process and employment contract management
· Human Resources Experience/knowledge
· Current knowledge of changes in legislation and ability to help the school district engage the legislative process

· Previous superintendent experience (preferred)
SALARY & CONTRACT: The salary will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statue.
