This job posting may be used to fill up to two intermittent Substitute Teacher positions at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault, Minnesota. This position will be on-call Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Develop effective instructional sequences.

•Create and implement a physical and interpersonal classroom environment that supports student learning within a correctional setting.

•Engage students in learning and utilize instructional strategies that help students understand content.

•Participate in ongoing professional development activities and collaborate with colleagues to advance learning for teachers and students.

This position is located at a correctional facility and has direct contact with offenders.

Job Summary:  Assist in the overall operation, provide leadership and supervision with Chaska Hawks Dance Team.
Duties/Qualifications:Strong high kick skills and technique are required
Jazz technique and choreography skills are important
Must be able to command the respect of a group and be an excellent role model and leader for the athletes
Time management skills; need to plan practice agendas in order to balance practice time between strengthening, flexibility, technique training and drilling dances
Excellent communication skills are required

Job Description:       Full-time (1.0 FTE) Long-term Substitute Secondary Language Arts Teacher at Faribault High School.  Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our core Language Arts department, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. This position begins immediately upon hire.

Grade 5 Teacher (Long Term Substitute)

Edina Public Schools has a long term substitute Grade 5 teaching position available at Countryside Elementary beginning approximately January 6, 2020 through April 9, 2020.  This position is for a .5 shared contract teacher, with teaching responsibilities Thursdays, Fridays and every other Wednesday.
