We are looking for candidates with a Minnesota license in elementary education, and would give preference to candidates that have additional concentrations or degrees. This position will begin August 26, 2019.

Have experience with differentiated instruction, and guided reading
Believe that ALL students can learn and grow
Are open to supporting the whole child socially, emotionally, and academically
Have experience with PBIS and MTSS frameworks

A full-time, (1.00 FTEs) position as a Media Specialist – Secondary is available for the 2019-20 school year.  MN licensure in Media Specialist is required.

Summary of Duties: The certified media specialist implements a series of decisions based on the numerous principles of learning which when practiced should increase the probability that learning will take place.  The media specialist develops and conducts classroom instruction, evaluates and assesses instructional materials and student progress.  The media specialist may develop and supervise co-curricular activities.

Orchestra Teacher (1.0 FTE – .6 Elementary Schools/ .4 Middle School)

A Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Orchestra teacher(.6 at Faribault Elementary Schools and .4 at Faribault Middle School).  Responsibilities include middle school orchestra, lessons, and sections of orchestra at the three Faribault elementary schools and the middle school.  The qualified candidate should have experience starting beginning orchestra students, demonstrated success working with elementary and middle school aged students, proficiency on string instruments, maintains instrument inventory, and communicates well with students, parents, teachers, and administration.  This position commences with the 2019-2020 school year on August 26, 2019.

The Granada Huntley East Chain Public (GHEC) School District is seeking a Superintendent/Principal as of July 1, 2019. Candidates must possess licensure as a Superintendent in the State of Minnesota or demonstrate their ability to secure licensure by July 1, 2019. Previous experience as a superintendent is preferred but not required.

GHEC Public Schools Office is located in Granada, Minnesota in southern Minnesota between the two larger towns of Blue Earth and Fairmont. The school district serves approximately 300 students from Pre-K through grade 12.  The students are served at one school site in Granada.
