Independent School District 624 announces a principal vacancy at Central Middle School.  Central Middle School serves approximately 1,150 students in grades 6, 7 and 8.  The Central Middle School Principal works closely with the Sunrise Park Middle School Principal to create a seamless experience for the district’s approximately 1,975 students in grades 6-8.

The White Bear Lake Area School District serves all or part of Birchwood, Gem Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Little Canada, Maplewood, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, White Bear Lake and White Bear Lake Township with four Early Childhood program locations (Birth-K) nine elementary schools (K-5), two middle schools (6-8) an Area Learning Center and a Transition Education Center. The school district, with a total population of more than 63,000 residents serves approximately 9,000 students, Pre k-12. The White Bear Lake Area School District community is considered a second-ring, northeastern suburb of the city of St. Paul, but is within fifteen minutes from either St. Paul or Minneapolis.

Position Description:  The Principal must be the instructional leader providing quality education that meets the academic and social needs of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in a nurturing environment where uniqueness and diversity are valued, lifelong learning and service is modeled, and all can be successful.

A competitive compensation package, with an annual salary in the range of $120,000 to $140,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.
