Secondary Mathematics Licensure.  Experience with secondary level students preferred.  Candidates must exhibit strong content knowledge ability to collaborate with administration and staff to reach district and building goals, and have the proven ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and staff.  Strong planning and organizational skills essential and effective communication skills across all levels of the District.  Strong understanding of best practices for High School math learning.

Director of Adult Education

This position provides program management for the Department of Corrections Education Unit, which includes:

  • serving as Adult Basic Education (ABE) consortium and state/federal grant manager;
  • representing DOC education at the legislature on ABE and other issues;
  • overseeing Education databases, facility offender networks, computer software, and other education technology;
  • managing facility law library operations;
  • approving and managing teacher requests for professional development credits and contract lane changes;
  • ensuring Education Unit contract compliance;
  • monitoring State and Federal ABE, Specter, and Education budget accounts;
  • and, serving as a DOC Policy review coordinator.

Supervisor of School Health Services

Position Summary:
The Supervisor of School Health Services works to identify, remove and remediate health related barriers to learning and to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. The Supervisor will plan, supervise, evaluate, and coordinate school health personnel (LPNs, RPNs and other health care professionals) and services provided for the special health needs of students at all grade levels.  Provide, maintain, and monitor a district-wide system of first aid, emergency care, medication administration, and health related procedures. Organize and lead district employee wellness efforts.
