- Assist with creating written materials and other training resources and tools to enhance board development, governance, and leadership through conferences, seminars, regional workshops, and in-district workshops.

- Assist with planning and coordinating conferences, seminars, and regional workshops.

The Minnesota Department of Corrections is seeking a licensed school principal for the high school at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing. The position will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise and coordinate all academic, career technical, higher education, and life skills education programs.
- Establish a school-wide vision of commitment to high standards and the success of all students.
- Coordinate the provision of student counseling and intervention services to promote students’ academic, career and social/emotional development.
- Exercise supervisory authority to administer personnel practices, directives, and instructions in the management of human resources.
- Provide effective leadership and management of education programs, use technology to deliver a wider variety of curriculum to a wider base of students, provide the necessary behavioral and social support services that address the individual needs of all students, and ensure incarcerated youth are provided with access to the same educational and career technical services that are available in the community.
