Position Summary:
The Teacher performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs within District curriculum guidelines, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal.  Continuous oversight is exercised over paraprofessionals.

Industrial Technical Education Teacher

Position Summary:
Provide instruction to ensure all students learn at high levels.  Will teach some technology education classes, which can include engine repair, welding, woods and metal working, robotics, and graphic design or CAD.

Elementary Principal

Mahtomedi Public Schools is currently seeking two outstanding individuals to serve as Principals at our elementary buildings.

    Principal – Wildwood elementary grades: E-2

    Principal – OH Anderson elementary grades: 3-5

    Both positions are effective July 1st 2019

The school district hosts a 3,300 student population and is located in the northeast metropolitan area; comprised of an E-2 Elementary, 3-5 Elementary, Middle School grades 6-8, High School grades 9-12 along with a Transition program for students aged 18-21.

The successful candidate must demonstrate extensive and proven strong leadership skills that include a shared vision for school success; collective decision making practices that involve and value stakeholder input; responsible resource management; personal commitment to equitable practices that foster student achievement and development for all children; and a firm dedication to developing and maintaining a positive working culture and climate.
