Position: Special Education EBD Centerbased Teacher (1.0), One Year Only
Location: Harmony Learning Center

Required Qualifications:
1. Current MN License in EBD;
2. Extensive experience in working with multi-categorical groups and case management;
3. Excellent collaboration skills and communication skills;
4. Knowledge of due process in the areas of evaluation and educational planning;
5. Experience with Positive Behavioral Intervention Systems, Crisis Prevention Intervention training, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, and writing Behavior Intervention Plans;
6. Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodations;
7. Knowledge in Secondary Transition Planning.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Highly qualified per NCLB in Language Arts, Reading, and/or Math;
2. Computer and data management proficiency.

Special Education Teacher (Developmental Cognitive Disability)

This teacher will be responsible for case managing and instructing students with high needs as well as coordinating paras and some student self-care. The instruction delivered by this teacher will be in the areas of functional academics and transition.
