AMERICAN INDIAN CULTURE & CURRICULUM SPECIALIST
This is a full time position.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Provide training for instructional staff on American Indian Culture & Traditions.
• Develop/Identify lesson plans/units on American Indian Culture, History & Traditions.
• Provide training for instructional staff on effective use/implementation of lesson plans/units on American Indian Culture, History & Traditions.
• Review current District curriculum to ensure compliance with Minnesota Standards and integration of American Indian content and resources.
TEACHER ON SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT: STAFF DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST-TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION
Responsibilities:
• Organize and facilitate training for all teachers that supports achievement of district goals
• Prepares reports regarding training provided, participation and outcomes.
• Organize and keep records of completed professional development activities
• Attend professional development activities to enhance training and subject matter knowledge
• Apply newly learned strategies to professional development training offered for staff
• Review SMART goals to ensure staff development programs support goal achievement
• Meet with administration to ensure accountability and consistency throughout the district with implementation procedures and requirements
• Establish implementation timelines and continuous updates on progress.
SOCIAL STUDIES/WORK BASED LEARNING TEACHER
This is a full time position at the Alternative Education Center (AEC).
High School Principal
Job Summary: Direct oversight of school operations and student achievement. Develop and maintain comprehensive, innovative, and effective educational programming consistent with state and federal guidelines and the mission of the district. Enforce and direct student management, discipline, health, safety, and general welfare to support a positive and progressive learning culture. Ensure equity and access are embedded in opportunities for students and families.

Specific Tasks:
Performs complex professional work developing and maintaining an effective educational program consistent with state and federal guidelines and the philosophy, policies and goals of the School Board, ensuring student safety and related work as apparent or assigned. Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the office of the Superintendent. Continuous supervision is exercised over all personnel within the buildings.
