Job Summary:  To develop, direct and provide ongoing leadership for a comprehensive human resources and administrative services function, within established policies, goals and philosophies of District 834 and within all applicable law.

Key functions include: recruitment, hiring processes, staffing, compensation analysis, benefit design and administration, contract administration, negotiation with aligned and non-aligned employee groups and compliance with all applicable state and federal laws related to employment.

 

5th Grade teacher

Must have a valid MN teaching license.

Position Description:
Candidates selected to fill the role of High School Business Teacher  Wayzata High School will be given the great responsibility of continuing our long standing commitment to academic excellence.  This will be achieved through the design and delivery of Business instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners.  In addition, you will be responsible for building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.

Qualifications:Must have a valid MN License in High School Business.
Ideal candidates should have experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners.
Must have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
Must have the ability to build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Must be proficient with current technology used to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
Ideal candidate will have experience with teaching Computer Technician Essentials (beginner and PC repair/A+ Certification), Animation, Computer Programming Principles, and Website Design.
Ideal candidate will have a background in PC repair/troubleshooting; have experience in programming:  web language(s), JAVA and Visual Basic; have experience in using:  Adobe Animate, Adobe Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, and Eclipse; and be CompTIA A+ certified.
