Director, Nutrition Services

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for administering and overseeing Nutrition Services operations and staff. Plans and provides nourishing and appealing meals for students and staff, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations while evaluating program participation, meal acceptability and financial operations in an effort to meet the program goals of being a self-supporting operation. Serves on the district’s wellness committee.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program and Operation Management
  • Budget Management and Purchasing
  • Personnel Management and Supervision

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field
  • USDA Professional Standards required hours
  • Minnesota Food Managers License
  • Previous management or supervisor experience
  • Previous experience in high volume food service operations
