1st Grade Teacher
This position will provide academic instruction in a 1st grade classroom.
Paraprofessional – Teacher’s Assistant
- Assist the teacher & team with classroom teaching and support.
- Demonstrate warm and welcoming interactions with children and parents.
- Prepare instructional materials as requested by the teacher.
- Assist with small group activities.
- Facilitate student interaction, under the guidance of the teacher.
- Assist with classroom supervision, using positive guidance and redirection techniques with students.
- Assist with classroom set-up and clean-up to maintain a safe and engaging environment.
- Assist Students to and from bathroom facilities as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Work with the school to create and maintain an inclusive, respectful and caring environment.
- Attend educational classes, in-services and/or workshops as required.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Site Principal and/or District Directors.
Title 1 Interventionist – full time
Full time (1.0) Title 1 Interventionist teaching position at Forest Lake Elementary to provide literacy/math intervention to students in grades 4-6.
