 Job Summary:

Under the direction of licensed special education teacher and/or related services staff, the Special Education Paraprofessional assists one or more students in accomplishing activities of daily living; instrumental activities of daily living, health related functions; redirection and intervention of behavior; and other tasks as are identified within assigned students’ IEPs. Special Education Paraprofessionals may be assigned to work with students who have special healthcare/medical needs, have behavior intervention plans or require other forms of specialized care.  Assists teachers by working with individual students or small groups, and performing related work as assigned.  Work is performed under the supervision of the Teacher and the general direction of the building Principal.

Job Qualification:

Must have a High School Diploma/GED and or College Degree. Or must be able to pass the ParaEducator Assessment upon hire.

Superintendent, Turtle Lake School District (WI)

The Turtle Lake School District is seeking a Superintendent beginning on July 1, 2026, with a base salary range expected to be $125,000 to $160,000; other benefits to be negotiated.

The Village of Turtle Lake has a population of approximately 1,150. Located in Northwest Wisconsin, the Village resides in both Barron and Polk Counties; however, the majority of the Village lies in Barron County. Two major highways, US Highway 8 and Highway 63, intersect in Turtle Lake and have spurred much commercial growth throughout the years. Turtle Lake is full of possibilities. Educational Assistant – Level IV Special Education

Position Overview

MASA seeks a dynamic, visionary, and experienced leader to serve as its next Executive Director. The Executive Director will build and sustain strong legislative relationships, promote collaboration across diverse educational organizations, and uphold MASA’s commitment to equity, inclusivity, and excellence in public education.

MASA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting salary range is anticipated to be $185,000–$215,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Contract length and a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance and retirement contributions, will be negotiated with the selected candidate.

  • Oversee the operations, staff, and financial health of MASA

Required Qualifications

  • Superintendent experience in a Minnesota school district (and a current, valid superintendent’s license in the State of Minnesota)
  • Demonstrated ability to act in a bipartisan manner while maintaining strong legislative advocacy
  • Demonstrated advocacy experience at the state or national level
  • Proven ability to navigate legislative and political landscapes effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships across organizations and communities
  • Experience leading equity and inclusion initiatives in educational settings
  • Strong emotional intelligence, approachability, and commitment to public education
  • Proven leadership and management experience overseeing staff and organizational operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with professional associations or nonprofit organizations
  • Strong understanding of Minnesota’s Metro and Greater Minnesota educational contexts
  • Visionary leadership that embraces innovation and future-focused strategies
