Job Summary:
The Accounting and Activities Office position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the school by maintaining accurate financial records and coordinating a variety of student and staff activities. Responsibilities include managing Student Activity and district accounts by obtaining proper documentation, issuing checks, depositing funds, and processing lunch money collections in coordination with the Food Service Department. The position also oversees petty cash reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. This role serves as a communication hub for the school, preparing and distributing Staff and Student Daily Bulletins, and posting announcements and special schedules through Schoology. Additional duties include arranging transportation for field trips, verifying athlete eligibility, maintaining extracurricular activity rosters, collecting and recording student activity and device fees, and supporting athletic and fine arts programs under the supervision of the Athletic Director. The position assists in scheduling staff for home events, preparing event materials and deposits, coordinating with local businesses for program advertising, and helping with special events such as eligibility meetings, tournaments, and concessions. General office duties include answering phones, making intercom announcements, and assisting staff, students, and visitors to ensure efficient and friendly service.
