The Aquatic Director administers a school aquatics program for Twin Bluff Middle School, supervises safe operation of the pool, and coaches the Red Wing High School Girls’ and Boys’ Swim/Dive Teams. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *Coaching techniques for swimming, including competitions, practices and strength/conditioning. *State and national regulations and health/safety standards associated with operation of public swimming pools. *Knowledge and ability to direct appropriate aquatic programming for youth. *Ability to maintain administrative, fiscal and academic records, some of which are confidential. *Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school officials, administrators, employees, students and the public. *Effective verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills. *Ability to organize and prioritize work. *Knowledge of office productivity software and pool timing

Computer Applications Teacher
Provide an ideal, positive learning environment, instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop, translate and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships. This teacher will teach a technology/engineering 21st Century Skills Class to elementary school students as part of a specialist rotation. The ideal candidate will have strong technology skills as well as an interest and passion for engineering, and robotics.
Director of Finance
Performs complex professional work supervising the payroll and finance department staff and operations, managing financial records, investments and grants, preparing for and supervising the completion of district financial audits, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations. Continuous supervision is exercised over Accounts Payable Clerk, Payroll Clerk and Accountant.
Special Education Teacher-DCD/ASD
Performs difficult professional work providing instruction ensuring all students within the academic discipline area learn and achieve academic excellence, achieve self mastery and social competency and develop their own missions (purpose) and vision for a positive future and an environment favorable to learning, teaching a broad range of subjects or specialized subject matter(s), teaching special needs students, motivating students to achieve maximum potential, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the building Principal.
Districtwide School Nurse
Under the director of the Director of Human Resources, the Licensed School Nurse is responsible for the planning, coordination, evaluation and implementation of the district’s health care program and services. The Licensed School Nurse facilitates and promotes health and safety; intervenes with actual and potential health problems; performs health care assessments, interventions, and develops individual health care plans; administers medication; performs prescribed treatment; provides case management services; and collaborates with other professionals to address student health and needs.
Art Teacher (.5 FTE) (Long Term Substitute)
Edina Public Schools has a Long Term Substitute Art teacher (.5 FTE) position available a Cornelia Elementary School beginning August 21, 2017 until the end of the school year. This art position will be a .5 FTE working full days on Monday and Thursday and half-days on Friday afternoons.
