Mounds Park Academy seeks a dynamic visual art teacher who can work well as a team member in a strong K-12 Visual Arts Department.  A love of working with middle and upper school students and a deep studio art background is essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, experience incorporating various perspectives as subject matter in the curriculum, adaptability to change and new opportunities, and a bright vision toward the future.

 

Primary job responsibilities include:

•    Teaching Upper School photography at multiple levels.

•    Teaching 7th and 8th grade art classes.

•    Other teaching responsibilities may include introductory courses in digital media or ceramics.

Director of Community Education and Recreation

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Community Education is responsible for the overall planning,
implementation, fiscal control and operation of Community Education & Recreation programs and its staff in the areas of
Early Childhood, Family Education, adult enrichment, youth recreation and enrichment programming. The Director of
Community Education & Recreation develops and manages a comprehensive, multi-dimensional, multi-cultural education
& recreation program, serving all residents of the City of Willmar & Willmar Public Schools. This includes
recommending policies and procedures in program development, administering personnel procedures, and managing the
budgets for both entities.

Head Girls BB Coach
