Minnesota State Academies-Student Support Services Director
The Director of Student Support Services (SSS) manages the Academies’ adminstration, operations, strategic planning, human resources, communication, budgetary needs and requirements, and coordination of services in the division of student support services, including oversight of due process and related services for deaf, hard-of-hearing, deafblind, blind, and visually impaired students, including those with additional learning and physical needs. The Director supervises the entire related services and evaluation team of the academy, ensuring compliance with the students’ Individual Education Programs. This position also serves as the Director of Special Education, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and academy laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines. The position oversees the curriculum and resources as well as training needs of both Academies and supports resource allocation in order to meet the educational needs of students on both campuses.
6th Grade Science Teacher
