School Social Worker
RBED in New Ulm, Minnesota has an opening for a School Social Worker to begin with the 2017-18 school year. Intervene in situations where behavioral and social barriers interfere with a student’s ability to attain his/her educational potential. Collaboration with school personnel and community agencies, identify and develop resources with the school system and/or the community for all students in the River Bend schools. Provide consultation to school personnel about home and community conditions affecting student welfare. Evaluate communications skills, plan and implement program services which assist identified students in improving those skills by following district, state, and federal guidelines.
