A full-time (1.0 FTE) Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the Faribault Public Schools. The BCBA will provide behavior analysis services and develop behavior intervention plans for special education students. In addition, support and professional learning will be provided to school staff, paraprofessionals, and parents/guardians, with respect to behavior intervention techniques, conducting assessments, and developing behavior intervention plans. Essential Functions:The following identifies the primary and essential functions of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of all duties. 1. Acts as liaison with the public and mental health community for the purpose of supporting individual student development goals; 2. Collaborates with programs and services for behaviorally or emotionally disturbed students for the purpose of improved functioning and ensuring program eligibility and compliance with established guidelines; 3. Assists with student crisis intervention; 4. Assists in developing interventions, functional behavior assessments and behavior plans for the purpose of providing a safe and effective educational environment for students with challenging behaviors; 5. Assists in developing procedures and training materials for District staff involved with students with challenging behaviors for the purpose of enhancing programs for students and ensuring that program operations are in compliance with established guidelines; 6. Collaborates with school personnel, agencies, and families in coordinating individualized behavior services for students; 7. Collects and summarizes behavioral data; 8. Completes all reporting requirements as mandated by the District, state, federal, and educational agencies (i.e. restraint and seclusion, assessments, behavioral data); 9. Conducts workshops, training, in-service presentations, etc. in classroom management techniques and other topics for the purpose of developing skills and establishing effective relationships with behaviorally or emotionally challenged students; 10. Facilitates and coaches teams through the development and implementation of functional behavior assessments/behavior interventions plans and crisis plans for identified students; 11. Implements and coaches school personnel on research based methods of classroom management and behavioral strategies; 12. Participates in the development of Individualized Educational Programs for students; 13. Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops and committees for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions and remaining knowledgeable with program guidelines; 14. Provides social skills instruction to students utilizing research based methodologies and approved District curricula; 15. Performs related duties as assigned and/or required.

PreK Teaching Assistant, .50 FTE

PreK Assistant Teacher: The position involves working with PreK children as an assistant teacher beginning August of 2017. This is a part-time position with hours from 1:30 pm-5:30 pm daily and 8:00 am-4:00 pm on school release days during the school year. The ideal candidate should be able to work as part of a team, enjoy working with three-and-a-half to five year old’s, and effectively engage students in a learning environment under direction of a lead teacher. In addition, this candidate should be able to plan and implement after-school activities for PreK children. The candidate must be committed to the MPA philosophy and whole child education.

Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer

North Branch (MN) Area Public School District is seeking a Director of Finance and Human Resources who will serve as the chief financial and human resources officer for the school district managing its budgetary and financial operations; overseeing personnel functions of the school district; and providing direct supervision to non-instructional departments including food service, buildings and grounds, and transportation. North Branch Area Public Schools is an easy commute from the twin cities, 45 miles north on Interstate 35. The current school district budget is $35 million. Enrollment is approximately 3,000 students K-12. There is one elementary school; grades K-4, one middle school; grades 5-8, and one high school; grades 9-12. There is also an active Early Childhood program and All Day School Age Care Program.
