Activities Director
Planning, scheduling of all events & officials for Grades 7-12 activities. Representative to the Board and MSHSL concerning events & activities. Schedules for busing for events. Responsible for communicating websites, etc., of events and any updates.
Fall Play Director
Edina Public Schools has an opening for a Fall Play Directorat South View Middle School beginning August 2017. Performance Responsibilities: 1. Act as educational leader for students participating in extra-curricular theatre activities 2. Act as liaison between students, administration and parent booster groups (if applicable) 3. Set rehearsal and performance schedules (Fall productions, community performances) in cooperation with other school activities 4. Coordinate communications/publicity for all related events 5. Coordinate auditions for this extra-curricular activity 7. Assist in the coordination maintenance of the performance facility including scenery, lighting, sound, props and costumes 8. Coordinate and facilitate performances of this extra-curricular activity 9. Collaborate with Arts colleagues on arts related functions within the school (e.g. Directing the Musical Theatre Production) 10. Coordinate and facilitate recruiting for the theatre program 11. Perform other duties as assigned
