The term of this contract shall be one year. Royalton School District is seeking an Interim Superintendent for the 2017-2018 school year. The Royalton School District is a K-12 school system located in central Minnesota. The school district serves approximately 950 students from the communities of Bowlus, Morrill, and Royalton. The school district maintains two academic buildings: Royalton Elementary School: 425 students, grades K through 5 Royalton Middle/High School: 487 students, grades 6 through 12 Royalton is a financially stable school district with excellent programs for students. The school district is finishing a $28 million dollar building project which has greatly enhanced our facilities across the district.

Graduate Teaching Fellowship/Digital Integration

Openings 2017-18 Graduate Teaching Fellowships Minnesota State University, Mankato Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Elementary Education. Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2017, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Application deadline: until filled. Teaching Fellow positions are available in the following Professional Development School (PDS) participating districts (posting will be updated as more information becomes available): Elementary/Middle Level Digital Integration, Tri-City United Public Schools -Primary instructor of technology skills TCU Montgomery K – 8 School through face-to-face and hybrid instruction of elementary classes. -Teach, assess and report articulated K-8 Digital Literacy curriculum that includes technology skills and ELA media literacy standards. -Support students in the creation and completion of projects and assignments using 21st century technology tools and other appropriate resources efficiently and responsibly. -Promote digital citizenship, ethical use, and online safety. -Learn, evaluate, and share new technologies and teaching methods. -Assist in planning and implementing professional learning opportunities which focus on the innovative use of technology. -Assist staff with establishing and enhancing digital integration within instruction, content, and for student learning.
