Qualifications: Special Education Licensure required for working with students in Federal Setting 1-3. Multiple licensure preferred. DCD Licensure preferred Ability to design and implement specially designed instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students requiring special education services with emphasis on students with significant disabilities in the area of DCD. Experience and willingness to work on general education teams and provide collaborative special education services with general education teachers is required. The Work Coordinator/Special Education Teacher will: Teach employment seminar classes; Conduct onsite visits at businesses where students are employed; Learn about each business, and determine how to assist students with pre-employment or employment needs; Be responsible for observing students onsite, monitoring progress and supporting job coaches; Support special education students at the Transition Education Center in the areas of transition and academics to help students obain their IEP goals, objectives and transition activities.
