The successful candidate for theSchool Social Workerposition will identify, mobilize and coordinate family, school and community resources to enable each child to receive maximum benefit from his/her educational program. Work in partnership with building principal and school staff to provide whole class, small group and 1:1 social emotional learning supports. Serve as a member of PBIS team. Serve as site level McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison. Provide staff professional development in areas related to social emotional learning and mental health needs. Partner with principal to ensure student attendance expectations are met by eliminating barriers. Serve as a school-family liaison.
