North Branch (MN) Area Public School District is seeking a Director of Finance and Human Resources who will serve as the chief financial and human resources officer for the school district managing its budgetary and financial operations; overseeing personnel functions of the school district; and providing direct supervision to non-instructional departments including food service, buildings and grounds, and transportation. North Branch Area Public Schools is an easy commute from the twin cities, 45 miles north on Interstate 35. The current school district budget is $35 million. Enrollment is approximately 3,000 students K-12. There is one elementary school; grades K-4, one middle school; grades 5-8, and one high school; grades 9-12. There is also an active Early Childhood program and All Day School Age Care Program. Duties: Administer district budget Oversee financial activities and programs of the district Manage human resource functions of the district Develop analyses and coordinate projects supporting administrative and School Board decision making Supervise non-instructional departments In the absence of the Superintendent, make immediate decisions regarding fiscal and legal decisions
