The position will include: facilitate support groups, study strategies, time management/organization, new student group, and implement interventions for struggling students. Position would coordinate academic interventions between teachers and students. Counselor must exhibit ability to manage and track multiple students’ academic progress and needs, act as a liaison between EL department, teachers, Deans, and School Counselors. This position will require attention to detail, knowledge of googledocs, and the ability to collaborate with multiple staff in the building. Special Teacher – Intermittent
The Minnesota Department of Corrections has two openings for Substitute Teachers at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater. WORK SCHEDULE: These positions will be on-call Monday through Friday as needed. Job duties include but are not limited to: -Provide appropriate and effective classroom instruction in an individualized manner to offender students when substituting in a literacy classroom. -Maintain a well-managed, comprehensive instructional environment to support offender Personal Education Plans. -Perform all administrative functions in a timely manner for accountability purposes. These positions are located in a correctional facility and will have direct offender contact.

New Dominion School provides on-site education at Gerard Academy, for children in grades K-12 who are struggling with academic, emotional, and/or behavioral barriers. The school also provides an educational experience for students from surrounding communities who are not successful in their current school districts. Responsibilities will include providing educational assistance to students in the areas of instruction, preparation of classroom materials, records management, student supervision and mentorship while ensuring student safety.
