Lead Licensed School Nurse
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Utilize the standards of School Nursing Practice to improve, maintain and promote health care in students across the developmental span-district wide. *Direct and Indirect Supervision of Health Services Team District Wide. *Management and Implementation of Student Health Data Base (Infinite Campus). *Provide Direct and Indirect Student Cares as per appropriate. *Participation in District Committees as directly related to performing the leadership of the District Lead LSN role. *Provide Health and Family Assessments to plan Individualized Emergency Plans and Individual Health Care Plans to accommodate specific needs as medically delegated and ensure attention to health in order to successfully meet educational goals. *Plan and implement health management protocols for consistent delivery of cares district wide. *Perform skilled nursing procedures around but not limited to the following list; first aid, illness/injury cares, referral/follow-up and monitoring of identified problems. *Maintain, examine, evaluate, and interpret health data to plan for the individual and the needs of above mentioned populations. *Promote prevention and intervention in the event of communicable disease processes in the school community. *Provide education and ongoing anticipatory guidance through transition years and at developmentally appropriate intervals. *Follow the delivery of care of the Public Health Wheel as it relates to the school setting. *Other duties as assigned.
Social Worker or Counselor, Middle Level – East Junior High School
Middle Level Social Worker or Counselor East Junior High School A full-time (1.00 FTEs) assignment as a Social Worker or Counselor is available for the the 2015-16 school year. This position will serve as an RtI Interventionist. A valid Minnesota Department of Education School Social Worker or Counselor license is preferred.Additional licensure will be considered based on qualifications. Head Volleyball
Responsibilities will be to oversee the overall volleyball program at BLHS, have excellent communication skills, a self-starter, an excellent motivator, as well as give advice on Junior Olympic volleyball involvement. This is a non-tenure position that is renewable on a year-to-year basis. The Principal and Activities Director will supervise this person.
School Psychologist or Intern School Psychologist
River Bend Education District of New Ulm has an opening for a School Psychologist or Intern School Psychologist beginning ASAP. This position affords opportunities to consult with teachers and parents provide direct service to students with disabilities and conduct psycho-educational assessments. This position provides the opportunity to work within a psych team, weekly psych meetings, and support from other school psychologists within the education district. Position will remain open until filled.
