ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/SCHOOL DISTRICT:

The Badger School District’s main office is located in Badger, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 230 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

Previous superintendent experience is not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT:  A competitive compensation and benefits package will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, evaluates the educational needs of assigned students and in some cases, families; provides and evaluates appropriate instructional interventions and curriculum; monitors, documents and reports student progress; and provides parent support services. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Special Education, Occupational Therapists (OT) will lead the process in the development, implementation, and coordination of the school district’s occupational therapy program for students with disabilities or physical/mental impairments. This will be done through development of individualized programming based on occupational performance deficits in activities of daily living, including: personal care, interaction skills, community integration, work, and communication.

The Mankato Area Public School District is seeking a Director of Facilities and Safety beginning April 2024. The Director of Facilities is responsible for the oversight and management of all district facilities and grounds. The Director of Facilities engages in both long-range and short-range facility planning, maintenance and care activities, as well as budget planning, preparation and monitoring.  Provides leadership for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees and visitors using the all hazards approach by helping to develop, establish and enforce safety and security policies, access control procedures, accident prevention efforts, support risk management efforts, fire safety, emergency management, asset protection, parking control and traffic enforcement programs.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is desired , or graduate of a two-year technical school
Director of Facilities or equivalent experience
Valid Minnesota Chief C Engineer’s license or obtained within one year
Valid Minnesota Driver’s License
MASMS Certification in Facility Management or obtained within two years

Other Information:
The contract year is 12 months and includes paid holidays and vacation.  A competitive compensation package is available.

Pay Rate:
Salary range: $108,000 – $112,000
