2024-25 Graduate Teaching Fellowships

Minnesota State University, Mankato

Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education).  Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Vocal Music Education.

Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2024, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply.  Application deadline:  until filled.

Teaching Fellow positions are available in the following Minnesota Educators Partnership (MEP) districts:

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY/SCHOOL DISTRICT:

The DaVinci Academy of Arts and Science’s main office is located in Ham Lake, Minnesota. The district has an approximate enrollment of 950 kindergarten through grade eight students.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The DaVinci Academy Board of Directors seeks an executive director who:

  • Develops trust and works collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Acts with honesty and in an ethical manner with the Board, staff, and community
  • Is a visionary, strategic, and creative thinker
  • Is a “people person” with proven abilities in human relations and communications
  • Has knowledge of or experience in Minnesota school finance
  • Has knowledge of and experience with equity challenges and opportunities
  • Develops and directs an effective leadership team

Previous experience as an executive director or superintendent preferred.

SALARY/CONTRACT:  A competitive compensation and benefits package, with a salary of $150,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. Contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.
