Early Childhood Teacher

Activitites Director

The Mankato Area School District is seeking an Activities Director for West High School beginning July 1, 2024. This is a full-time, 12-month, Non-affiliated position with category III benefits.

Job Summary:
The Activities Director is responsible for leading, planning, implementing and facilitating activities and events for Mankato West High School including athletics, fine arts and clubs.  This position leads the selection, supervision, evaluation and professional development of coaches and advisors.  Also works with others in the management and oversight of facility and equipment and provides oversight of homecoming festivities at Mankato West High School.

Requirements:
License as K-12 Principal or willingness to acquire preferred.  Candidate must have strong communication skills, a desire to work with others, an understanding of the educational process and the ability to motivate and inspire others around the district strategic road map.
