Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. To coordinate all auditorium events to assure smooth operation during and outside the regular school day and to maintain the inventory of sound, lighting, and other equipment needs.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

Assist in the scheduling of events and staff in the auditorium.
Effectively operate the sound board, light board, and other basic equipment in the auditorium.
Set up and facilitate consultations with permit holders.
Select, train, manage, and provide work direction to Auditorium Technicians.
Provide excellent customer service.
Monitor for safety and arrange for any necessary maintenance or repairs.
Maintain the inventory list of current equipment/supplies as well as equipment supplies needed.
Be present during events as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:

Experience with high-end theater sound and lighting systems.
Ability to work and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills.

Rate of Pay: $24/hour

Work schedule: Varies

Job Type or FTE: Casual, Part-time, work hours vary depending on when events needing auditorium staff support are scheduled.

Description: Assist in supporting the transportation department with various duties including but not limited to McKinney Vento and Type III transportation requests, extra-curricular and field trip bus requests, administrative support for both the director and assistant director, and customer service for transportation department.

Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by providing specialized clerical and technical duties related to transportation, as well as related responsibilities requiring creative solutions to specialized department needs. Answer correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information. Interact with a diverse group of external customers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and carry out a diversified workload, and make recommendations for changes in office practices or procedures.

Responsibilities and tasks include:
Responsible for scheduling type III transportation requests including students in transitional housing, care and treatment, and foster care
Responsible for planning and scheduling all extracurricular trips requested by school sites
Provide clerical & customer support with all inquiries that come into the transportation department for internal and external customers
Delivering customer service that embodies the District mission
Assisting school/department leaders with communications
Acting as a liaison between parents, students, community and site/department staff
Communicating and coordinating services with internal and external vendors to ensure quality service to our school system
Submitting business forms, requisitions, office supply requests
Provide clerical and administrative supports to Director and Assistant Director of the transportation department
Minimum Qualifications include:
High school graduate or equivalent;
Prior customer service and Microsoft Office experience.
Preferred Qualifications include:
Transportation and/or logistician support experience
Experience working with families in need
Prior related secretarial/clerical work experience
Proficiency working phones and computer software system
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:
Understanding of data entry concepts
Knowledge of spreadsheet and database management software and word processing skills.
Advance knowledge of general office and general administrative procedures and operational requirements.
Understanding of office equipment and typical productivity software, databases or customized systems/applications.
Ability to work successfully in a team setting;
Understanding of data privacy requirements, policies, procedures, laws and rules as it pertains to job assignments.

Essential Functions

  • Provides instruction in the core and age-appropriate curriculum. Assesses initial knowledge or skills. Makes appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies, including computer technology. Develops and implements instructional activities for students. Develops and copies instructional materials; and, orders instructional materials and supplies. Collaborates with other teachers, staff resources, and volunteers regarding instructional and program activities. Provides for remediation, when necessary.   • Maintains contact and communications with parents of students, and works with them in the development of each student. Schedules and holds parent conferences, as well as conferences with county workers, as appropriate. Recruits students into classes and specialized programs. Enrolls students and maintains classroom databases on students;
  • Regarding special needs students, in conjunction with special education teachers, determines the least restrictive environment, and assists with the completion of due process reports and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Ensures the safety of students. Maintains an appropriate classroom learning environment, including displays;

Fund raises for certain student activities;

Parent Educator

Fourth Grade Teacher – Long-term Substitute
