Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree and a Special Education teaching license with LD or EBD experience preferred. Must have strong communication skills and previous experience preferred working with IEP goals and the ability to meet critical deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify the needs of assigned students with disabilities through formal and informal assessments

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a valid MN Teaching License: School Counselor, K-12 or be able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
Qualifications:
- Student-centered approach and previous counseling experience at a secondary level preferred
- Previous experience with assessing students for referrals and providing support as needed
- Previous experience working with the collection and analysis of academic data on a district-wide bases including MCA testing to determine students’ instructional needs
- Previous experience with the preparation and submission of the Alternative Delivery of Specialized
- Instructional Services (ADSIS) reports to the State preferred
- Candidates must exhibit strong content knowledge, ability to collaborate with administration and staff to reach district and building goals, and the proven ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and staff.
- Strong planning and organization skills essential and effective communication skills across all levels of the District.

This position 1.0 FTE, based at the High School. Salary and benefits part of the Teacher Master Agreement.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a valid MN secondary education teaching license, or a Counselor or a licensed School Social Worker, or able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. Social worker license preferred.

- Must demonstrate strong knowledge and skills in areas of restorative practices
- Successful experience supporting students and staff through positive behavioral interventions
- Ability to support student behavior to ensure a safe, supportive, equitable and culturally responsive learning environment
- Demonstrate effectiveness in working with students and families of diverse racial and economic backgrounds
- Be able to positively build relationships and develop a strong level of trust with students and families while maintaining confidentiality
