1.0 FTE Southwest Middle School
The position would be a team teaching position in four sixth grade reading classes and one seventh grade ELA class.   A person licensed with ESL or ELA would be preferred, but not required.  This person would work closely with their team teachers as well as the other ESL teacher at Southwest.

Elementary Teacher Intervention Specialist

As an Owatonna teacher, you have the opportunity to set the tone for learning for the rest of a student’s life. You are able to teach students to love learning and also how to overcome the challenges and obstacles they face that keep them from reaching their goals. While adhering to the core curriculum required by the state, you are able to find creative, engaging ways to teach students real life application of the concepts they are learning. Washington School is looking for an intervention teacher for the second semester to support students with reading and math.

Qualifications:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Positive behavior intervention supports and MTSS preferred. Experience in utilizing an inquiry approach to instruction across all content areas and a background in STEM and Everyday Math beneficial.

Educational Assistant – Level IV Special Education

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Lac qui Parle Valley School Board seeks a superintendent who:

  • Acts with honesty and in an ethical manner with all stakeholders across the district
  • Is visible and accessible to the School Board, staff, students, parents, and community
  • Develops and directs an effective leadership team
  • Works cooperatively with the School Board; provides options and recommendations
  • Has knowledge of and experience with negotiations and the collective bargaining process
  • Effectively mediates and accommodates different perspectives; values teamwork

Previous superintendent experience not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT:  A competitive compensation and benefits package, with a minimum salary of $150,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.
