Position Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Finance & Operations serves as the Chief Financial
Officer of the District responsible for the overall fiscal management of the District including budget preparation;
purchasing; district insurance selection, design and negotiations; accounting, fiscal reporting, cost analysis and
fiscal forecasting. As a member of the Leadership Team, the Finance Director provides leadership and
management for the district with an eye to continuously improving systems to support our mission.
Director of Finance
Theatre Arts Teacher
2023-2024 School Year
Position is a full-time, part of the teacher bargaining unit and based at Mahtomedi Middle School. Salary and benefits part of Master Agreement
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a valid MN Middle School Theatre Arts license or able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board, and/or equivalent LETRS training.
Qualifications:
- Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with secondary level students
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and community
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff
Responsibilities:
- Identify the needs of students through formal and informal assessments
- Plan, develop and implement appropriate lessons to ensure the achievement of student growth
- Communicate with students, parents and staff on regular basis on student progress
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
- Foster a community where all people are valued, respected, seen and heard
- Inspire robust academics, critical and creative thinking and continuous personal growth
- Create world-class learning experiences that integrate multiple perspectives
- Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
- Attend department, school and parent meetings or functions
- Other job-related duties as assigned

Elementary Principal – Full Time – Marshall County Central Schools
Marshall County Central Schools is seeking a full-time Elementary Principal to serve its two elementary schools, Viking Elementary (PreK-Grade 2) and Newfolden Elementary (Grade 3-6). The district is located in central Marshall County near the city of Thief River Falls in Northwest Minnesota.
Marshall County Central is healthy financially. The district’s enrollment is growing and it is in the process of a project to add space to improve its school buildings. We are seeking a leader with strengths in staff development, PBIS, and communication to serve as its elementary administrator alongside our elementary Dean of Students.
Our district’s goals include: maximizing student achievement, developing citizenship, promoting quality communication, and seeking continuous improvement. FRENCH TEACHER
This is a full time position at Bemidji High School. Applicants must be licensed by the Minnesota PELSB to teach high school French. Applicants able to obtain special permissions are encouraged to apply.
