Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Position

Caledonia Area Public School District has an opening for an (ECSE) Early Childhood Special Education teacher beginning the 2023-2024 school year. Minnesota EBD, ASD, SLD, or ABS license preferred but not required.  Other special education licenses will be strongly considered. Special Education Teacher – Elementary

Position Summary:
The Teacher is a stand-alone classification.  Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs within District curriculum guidelines, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal.  Continuous oversight is exercised over paraprofessionals.

Qualifications:
A valid Special Education teaching license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education (consideration of all Special Education categories). Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Job Description:                   1.0 FTE Special Education DCD Setting III Teacher at Jefferson Elementary School.  This position commences with the start of the 2023-24 school year.

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities.
