POSITION:
Head Coach – Trap and Skeet Team
Dates: Fall and Spring Seasons – 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (may vary based on season)

DUTIES:
Serve as head coach for the Centennial High School Trap and Skeet team. This may include but not limited to setting up practices, events, and schedules for the program; supervision of participants at practices and events; care and maintenance of program equipment and arranging team transportation. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and events.

Preferences:
A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License.

Qualifications:
This candidate should have experience leading a trap/skeet program of high school students and possess knowledge of American Trap, American Skeet, and Sporting Clay target shooting. Head coaching experience is ideal.
– Full knowledge and understanding of firearm safety is required.
– Experience working in education or related field is required.
– Bachelor’s degree and Minnesota Teachers Licensure preferred.
– Excellent communication skills when dealing with students, staff, and community.

Salary: Compensation is in accordance with Schedule B of the Teachers Contract.

Early Childhood Specialist

Early Childhood Resource Coach

Position Location: Serving families residing in Pine County

Position Purpose:
This position is being hosted on behalf of the Pine County Children’s and Family Services Collaborative. Through interagency collaboration, the Early Childhood Resource Coach will mentor families with high mental health/social-emotional/behavior needs through the process of obtaining access to available resources. Specifically, services will be readily accessible to families (i.e., no evaluation process; limited ‘red tape’) and will be focused on identifying and prioritizing the mental health needs of the family system.

Essential Duties:

  • Coaching Families
    • Identify social-emotional/behavioral/mental health needs of the child and/or the parent/guardian
    • Create goals tailored to meet the needs/priorities set forth by each family
    • Provide parent education on targeted social-emotional topics
    • Conduct home visits, as needed, to help support identified needs and goals
    • Provide interim service while connecting family to long-term providers
  • Family Resource Connection
    • Have knowledge of local and state resources to help support and guide families through the mental health system and to appropriate resources
    • Attend meetings and collaborate with other professionals in Pine County on shared families
    • Consult with local agencies on mental health topics related to children ages birth to 5
  • Service Promotion
    • Attend meetings and other community events to promote the services provided by the Early Childhood Resource Coach and provide information about the referral process
  • Other Duties
    • Performs other duties as assigned
