JOB DESCRIPTION: Cook – Middle School – 6 hours/day 183 days/year
7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the cook manager as needed with the school meal program book work, daily recording of food served, ingredients used and numbers served.
Stores and inventories all food and supplies.
Performs all phases of kitchen positions, including cleanup, dish washing and sanitation.
Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
Monitors meals served to ensure proper food handling and portion control.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and 2 years school food service experience or equivalent. Certification of level 2 or higher by American School Food Service Association standards, certified in Serv-Safe from the National Restaurant Association or equivalent as accepted by the School Board.

WAGES/BENEFITS: Starting at $17.49

POSITIONS:
Assistant Baseball Coaches- Varsity, B-Squad and 9th Grade

Season Starts: March 6, 2023 – 12 Weeks

Work Schedule: 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm (will be dependent on game and practice schedules)

Qualifications:
– 4-year bachelor’s degree
– Previous baseball coaching experience at the youth, high school, or collegiate level

Responsibilities:
Work in partnership with the Varsity Head Coach to ensure alignment of the Centennial high School Baseball program vision and mission as a whole.
– Hold organizational meetings for returning and new team members and encourage student participation.
– Access skills of student-athletes and determines team selections, in partnership with other coaches
– Schedules and organizes regular practice schedules to provide both individual and team development at all levels
– Coach and instruct students, individually and in groups, regarding rules, regulations, techniques, and tactics of the game.
– Observe students, during games and practice to determine needs for individual and/or team improvement.
– Establish and maintain standards of student behavior and always provide proper supervision of team members
– Monitor the academic performance of team members to ensure eligibility requirements are met
– Follow established procedures in the event of an injury
– Clear communication with parents/guardians providing program information
– Follow state, sectional, and school district bylaws and policies as it pertains to governance of the program
– Model sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards students, officials, and spectators set forth by the standards of the MSHSL and Centennial School District
– Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities while creating a welcoming environment for coaches and student-athletes at all levels
– Ensure adherence toward the required MSHSL training and education for self and each member of the coaching staff
– Provide opportunities for student-athlete participation in off-season clinics, camps, and program activities
Compensation: Per Schedule B of the Centennial Teachers Contract and/or Booster Compensation as agreed upon.

Mission:

The Mission of Lionsgate Academy is to foster self-determination by providing a transition-focused, personalized education for all, specializing in educating learners on the autism spectrum.

Throughout its three campuses, Lionsgate Academy creates an educational environment that models best instructional practice and research-based techniques so that the graduates can live independently, be involved in further education or gainful employment, and develop meaningful relationships with others.

Job Summary

Under the auspices of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for oversight of fulfilling the school’s mission. This includes strategic planning, financial management, communications, and public relations.  The Executive Director is responsible for the overall educational program of Lionsgate Academy in alignment with the mission and in accordance with national and state statutes and regulations. Administrative Assistant Position:
The MSHSL is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant primarily responsible for supporting the administration of our athletic and fine arts programming. This position is integral in planning and supporting the operation of tournaments and provides customer service to our member schools, administrators, and coaches. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized with ability to plan and implement, strong team player, is positive and cooperative and operates efficiently and effectively. A basic understanding of MSHSL sponsored activities and athletics and programs, embraces challenges and has a record of high-quality performance.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary ranges between $54,000 and $60,000 and commensurate with professional qualifications, experience and comparable positions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Minor travel may be required to tournament venue sites

• Assist with organization-wide projects
• Assist other staff members with projects

Qualifications:
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Education or training beyond a High School Diploma preferred
• Evidence of a team centered approach and exemplary interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other current office technologies
• Desire to add and improve skillset and advance our use of digital platforms and technologies
