Responsible for providing leadership and special education expertise to teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, district administrators and the communities within the Sherburne and Northern Wright Special Education Cooperative to ensure that all students with disabilities are identified and served appropriately. This includes staff recruitment, development and evaluation, program planning, implementation and evaluation. This is all done in collaboration with building principals, district administration and staff. Requires strong working knowledge of special education rules and regulations as the individual serves as the go-to special education expert. Responsible for overseeing special education staff and Level 3 and Level 4 programs. The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience.
