English Language Arts Teacher

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS
CENTENNINAL HIGH SCHOOL

CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is the connecting hub for the communities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino Lakes, located 20 minutes north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER
1.0 FTE – Centennial High School- Starting August 29, 2022.
183 Workdays            7:15 AM – 3:15 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid 9 – 12 Communication Arts/Literature teaching license in the State of Minnesota.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGES:
Candidates will be placed on the teacher contract and will receive benefits according to the CEA
contract.

MIDDLE SCHOOL- Multi-categorical Special Education Teacher
1.0 FTE – Special Ed Teacher
183 Work days 7:25 AM – 3:25 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a licensed Special Education teacher with the State of Minnesota, preference given to multi-categorically licensed applicants.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 1.0 FTE School Psychologist
Centennial High School     183 work days           7:15 AM – 3:15 PM

Conduct evaluations, problem solving with the team, participate in Student Assistance Team, Intervention support, and social skills groups. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be fully licensed in the state of Minnesota as a School Psychologist.
Demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.

Learning Resource Teacher

The Learning Resource Teacher delivers scripted PRESS reading interventions to small groups of identified students in grades K-5.  The position is funded through an ADSIS Grant.  Work hours are five hours a day for 150 days out the school year.  Job duties include:

delivering various prescriptive reading interventions in small groups
teaching classwide interventions when the data warrants.
scheduling small groups of students, and adjusting schedules as the data dictates
collaborating with other interventionists
progress monitoring
communicating with parents and teachers
attending Stakeholder meetings

Title I Interventionist Elementary Teacher – Part Time

Qualifications:
