Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach

QUALIFICATIONS:
Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
REPORTS TO: The athletic director, who provides overall objectives and final evaluation.

SUPERVISES: In several instances, the head coach must advise, coordinate and support a staff of high school assistant coaches and middle school coaches in conjunction with the athletic director.

JOB GOAL: To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the coach must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.

Social Studies- Faribault High School

Job Description: Full-time (1.0 FTE)  Social Studies at Faribault High School.  This position would teach some classes in Social Studies mostly US History and AP US History. The position will commence with the 2022-2023 school year on August 22, 2022.

General Information: Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits. EL Teacher 1.0 FTE – .5 Area Learning Center & .5 Falcons Online Academy

Job Description: 1.0 FTE EL Teacher at the Faribault Area Learning Center and Falcons Online Academy for grades 3-12. This position will teach a few self-contained EL language development classes in reading, writing and grammar. They will also be expected to assist upper level EL students with vocabulary development in content areas such as social studies and science. This position may include some work at other district school sites as determined by student need.
