Position Summary:
Special Education Teacher will serve as a student-centered educator who is a learner and warm demander for all learners.  Teacher will establish collaborative & impactful relationships with colleagues, families, and students.  Teacher will understand and model best instructional practices, complete all paperwork and due process for students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and advocate for every student.  Candidate must have a learner & inclusionary mindset and see that their presence has an impact with students and our school environment.

Qualifications:
Valid MN Special Education Teaching license; dual licensure in elementary education is preferred.  Ideal candidate will have a solid background in best practices, co-teaching, inclusion, and equity. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.  Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired.

Special Education Para/Nurse 1:1

Teacher – Math Interventionist

JOB GOAL:
The Math Interventionist will be responsible for supporting student achievement in the area of Mathematics. The Interventionist will provide high quality instructional interventions through working with small group and individual students. The Math Interventionist will also collaborate with the Math Department to provide support with math intervention at the Tier 1 instructional level. This will include data management, intervention design, intervention prescription and co-teaching.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Provide high quality mathematics instruction to individuals and small groups.
2. Collaborate with instructional coaches to increase the capacity of classroom teachers and increase inclusive practices.
3. Collaborate with teachers, administration and families to help identify and prescribe best practices for individual students and small groups.
4. Provide data to school teams and build team capacity to access data to increase the effectiveness and responsiveness of PLC work.
5. Communicates with teachers, administration and families regarding student progress.
6. Maintains data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress.
7. Assist with identifying students for placement into intervention.
8. Provide diagnostic assessments for students as needed.
9. Support the development of high quality/effective math instruction at all levels; collaborating with math teachers on instructional planning, teaching practice and the development of strategic school wide and classroom level intervention plans.

Speech Language Pathologist (2022-2023 School Year)
