Responsibilities: Position provides instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed; make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies. Implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed. Write and implement individual student goals and objectives. Maintain contact and communications with parents of students and work with them in the development of each student.

Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota teaching license in appropriate field.

Desired Qualifications:

Considerable knowledge of the curriculum areas the teacher is responsible for instructing.
Considerable knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods and approaches, current researched best practices and strategies.
Considerable knowledge of students’ learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
Considerable knowledge of multicultural, gender and disability fair curriculum concepts.
Working knowledge of instructional technologies.
Considerable skill in classroom management and organization.
Ability to effectively facilitate and/or participate in team meetings and parent meetings.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

FTE:1.0: .6 FTE at Osseo Middle School/.4 FTE Woodland Elementary (Temporary approximately April 26, 2022 through June 10, 2022).

Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional

Special Education Paraprofessional- Elementary
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, assisting students with hygiene needs, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, physically transferring students and assisting in ACE instructional job responsibilities. Physical Education Teacher

Worthington School District 518 is seeking an Elementary Physical Education teacher starting in August of the 2022-23 school year. Job may be at Prairie Elementary (K-2) or Intermediate School (3-5). POSITION:

Head Coach- Girls Swimming & Diving – $6,473 – Beginning August 1, 2022

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position is responsible for all aspects of the Girls Swimming and Diving program at Centennial High School. Start and end times based on practice and meet schedule.  Total number of days dependent upon advancing in sections/state.

1. The head coach conducts practices and instructs student-athletes in strategies and techniques, all while making their education a top priority.

2. Instruct athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment, and fundamentals of Girls Swimming and Diving

3. Organizes and directs Assistant Coaches within the program

4.  Design and implement training program for student-athletes within the program

5. Ensure that all athletic activities conform to MSHSL guidelines

6. Communicate effectively with all members of the program (both V and JV levels)

7. Work effectively with the booster club

8. Support the value of an education

9. Support the philosophy and vision of Centennial High School athletics including the three pillars of academics, character, and integrity

10. Position requires travel for competitions
