Primary responsibility will be teaching adults for English Language Learning, Civics, and GED preparation.  Other duties include lesson planning, assessment and data collection.  A valid Minnesota teaching license in any content area is required.  Basic technology skills are required.  This position will begin in August 2022.

Enrollment Center and Student Systems Coordinator

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 is a dynamic and innovative suburban public school district serving approximately 8,000 students. The District includes 8 elementary schools with kindergarten through grade 5 (some with voluntary pre-kindergarten programs), two middle schools with grades 6-8, one high school with grades 9-12 and one alternative high school. The District also includes one of the most extensive Community Education programs in the state, serving newborns up through senior citizens.

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate student data systems satisfying school district and state requirements.  Provide support and training to district personnel in the use of the administrative systems and other related software. Oversee district staff in the Welcome and Enrollment Center.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Manage Welcome & Enrollment Center: provide leadership in the customer service, management, direction, training, and organization of the Welcome / Enrollment Center.
  • Data Reporting: assure compliance and accuracy for all state, federal, and local reporting of student related information including MARSS, MCCC, Carl Perkins, GRRR, etc.
  • Manage Student Information Systems Data: evaluate and implement system to collect, manage, and report student information in timely and user friendly manner.
  • Professional Development: support and coach staff in implementation of new requirements and student information systems.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to removing systemic barriers to student success and access to resources
  • BA in Human Services, Education or related field preferred
  • Prior experience within an educational system preferred
  • Superior experience managing databases
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service mindset
